Defined global IT architecture, as well as cybersecurity strategy, policy, and baseline standards for the company, in alignment to ISO27000, PCI, GDPR, and SSAE frameworks. Oversaw cybersecurity risk management, including but not limited to, DR and business continuity planning, vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and exposure remediation. Oversaw and audited day to day operational activities performed by multiple outsourced IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure compliance with the ITIL framework in pursuit of contractual SLAs. Provided architectural and design support for all infrastructure projects. Personally managed an individual capital project portfolio of $1 to 3 million dollars annually.
Key Achievements:

Managed global IT infrastructure consisting of 1 petabyte of storage, over 1,000 Windows and *NIX virtual and physical servers, 1,200 Cisco routers and switches, and 50+ various security devices distributed throughout 5 data centers and 125 remote locations.

Architected, designed, and managed a $2.5 million dollar design refresh upgrade to Data Center Cisco network core, security stack, and converged virtualized computing with flash storage nodes.

Key member of PGW committee responsible for requirements definition, proposal vetting, and selection of strategic Managed Service Providers for multi-year contracts, including service desk, operations, database, and cybersecurity services; total annual spend of over $6 million dollars.

Architected and defined procurement / installation of $1 million dollar green-field IT investment for a manufacturing facility in Zibo, China utilizing Nutanix hyper-converged virtualized compute and storage nodes secured with Palo Alto next-gen firewalls in a specialized security configuration.

Architected and designed robust and secure high-availability environment compliant with the PCI framework as well as state insurance regulations supporting web services applications for multiple business units with an annual revenue generation of $200 million dollars annually.
